Gifts for family, Journaling, lalaport, Mossery, notebook, notebooks, stationery, writing

Today I went exploring in Lalaport. Found an interesting-looking bookxcess. Went exploring inside it – You know, typical things you do when you see an interesting shop. Guess what I found? A little shop called Mossery that let me create my own personalised notebook, that’s what I found.

Near the entryway, there is a small sign that shows you all the different steps on how to make the note book. It also shows some of the options that you have when you’re in the process of making a notebook. It only takes 3 simple and easy steps!

Let me explain the process to you.

First, you pick your desired notebook cover design and leave it on this tray the staff shall give you to hold all the items you pick at Mossery.

Next, pick your preferred type of pages. This is the most complicated and fun part of your time at Mossery. You see, they display all the different types of pages in one massive shelved area. Every type of page has one shelf to itself. Every shelf has a number from 1-9. You can pick as many different types of pages as you want. One rule: the items you pick, all of their numbers combined must add up to the 19-21. The good thing: there are at least 12 different types of pages to choose from! They have pages for planning your month/year, drawing, writing, and much more!

After that, you fill in a form of all the other stuff you want to add to your notebook cover! Some options include your name, an animal zodiac, horoscope or an emoji to print on to the cover of your notebook (Please note that there are additional charge for some Personalisation)

After filling in the forms, you are done. You just have to wait about 15-20 minutes for the sales person to put your notebook together. You then collect your notebook from them and do whatever you want with it. I would recommend it as a special gift for your loved ones and friends. I had an amazing experience there 😊. With so much variety of things to choose from, you can just spend ages looking at all the options! If you do decide to visit, I hope you have a fun and happy time there.

AM02, Bladeless Fan, Dyson, House warming Gift

When friends ask us (Hub and me) what we still need for our new place? We usually tell them nothing as we don’t like like to burden our friends or ask for gift. (Especially for hub)

So, when a really close friend ask us many many times, we finally mention that we need a tower fan for our living room. When the friend ask if we have anything in mind, we explain that we will be happy with anything. A simple basic type is enough. (It’s the truth !!! when hub and I was still hunting for it, we were planning to settle for the traditional round type stand fan with long body)

When the friend brought the gift to us, I was shocked for a while. It is the Dyson AM02. WAHHHH…..

Of course I said the customary, “Ooo…. you shouldn’t have bought us such an expensive one” (it’s only right, right?)….

But, deep down, I was so so so excited and happy. I was jumping up and down with JOY and gleefully grinning away (in secret). Yippee ! How can you NOT love the Dyson Bladeless Tower Fan !!!

(I got this picture from Dyson’s website)

Thank you. THANK YOU !!!! (you know who you are !) big big HUGS !

gift, Japanese, kinomo kotobuki handkerchief

I receive this amazingly beautiful gift today from a Japanese friend of mine.

It’s actually a piece of handkerchief which was folded (in origami-style) to resemble a kimono.

Kotobuki, 寿  –

means wishing longevity or congratulation. Also used as a good wishes in weddings or child-birth.

What amazes me is how the pictures matches with each fold and joins perfectly.

Thanks you very much.
